Albuquerque’s Route 66 Glow
Albuquerque is home to the longest continuous urban stretch of historic Route 66 in the United States, nearly 18 miles!
In the 1930s–1960s, Route 66 travelers would arrive in the city to a dazzling display of neon lights, diners, and drive-ins. Many of those vintage signs still shine today.

Did you Know?
Did you know that the original Route 66 road in New Mexico and the New Route 66 Road cross over each other at 4th Street and Central? It’s a must stop while you are in ABQ!
Just like the neon signs once guided travelers into town, today the Sandia Peak Tramway guides visitors upward for unforgettable views, elevated dining experiences and some of the best opportunities for outdoor adventure.

Discover TEN 3’s
The original restaurant at the Peak was called Summit House, opening in 1963? In 1979, it was remodeled and renamed High Finance (PICTURED HERE), carrying that iconic name and location until the building was demolished in 2016.
In 2019, a new era began with the opening of TEN 3 — an exquisite mountaintop destination offering unforgettable fine-dining views alongside the best casual dining experience for mountain explorers.
