Masks are Required in the Tram’s Lower/Upper Terminals & Tram Cars.
As per New Mexico State Mandates, masks are required for all indoor facilities for all guests ages two years and up.

Tram Tickets are available for online purchase the day before you plan to arrive and the day of arrival.
Corporate Pass Holders, Annual Pass Holders, Large Groups and Gift Certificate Holders, will not need to purchase online.

The Tram, TEN 3 and Gift Shop will be closed for Maintenance Monday, Nov 8 – Wednesday, Nov 17. Resuming regular business hours on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Sandia Peak Tramway is open year-round but is closed for two weeks during April and November for maintenance.
TEN 3 hours will change to coincide with the tram winter and summer schedule.
Sandia Peak Tram and Ski is an equal opportunity provider. Sandia Peak Tram and Ski operate under permit with the Cibola National Forest.

The Sandia Peak Tramway and the deck areas atop the tram are all wheelchair accessible.
For our guests who are hearing-impaired, you can still enjoy the incredible views from the tram car and the observation deck. Additionally, there are displays in the upper terminal that have information about the mountain, rock formations, types of vegetation and animals that can be spotted in the Sandia Mountains.
Sight-impaired visitors can still enjoy the tram ride as the Cabin Operator will speak in detail about the mountain, rock formations, types of vegetation and animals as you travel the 2.7 miles up the mountain.
Service animals (as defined by the US Department of Justice) are permitted on the tramway. All other pets are not allowed on the tramway.
Strollers are permitted on the tram and the observation deck/ walkways of the upper terminal.
