Fall/Winter Hours
Sandia Peak Tramway will begin fall/winter hours the Tuesday after Labor Day. We will be open 9 am - 8 pm Wednesday through Monday, and 5 pm - 8 pm on Tuesdays, due to scheduled maintenance. Summer hours will briefly resume during Balloon Fiesta, only. Both Sandiago's Grill and Ten 3 will also experience a change in hours. Sandia Peak Tramway is hiring Ticket Agents and Cabin Attendants! A hiring fair will be held at the lower terminal on September 3rd, 2019, from 9am - 1pm. Balloon Fiesta
The annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is held for nine days in October. A critical piece of Albuquerque culture, the Balloon Fiesta hosts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year, with hundreds of hot air balloons taking to the sky daily. Tramway Closed for Spring Maintenance
Tram Spring Maintenance: Closed Monday, March 30 thru Thursday, April 16th except weekends (details below). **Tram will be open for business Friday April 3 at  4:30pm thru Sunday, April 5 and Friday, April 10th at 4:30pm thru Sunday April, 12.  Tram will reopen for regular operations beginning Friday, April 17th. Sandia Peak Tramway conducts bi-annual maintenance each year. The Tram, TEN 3 and Gift Shop will be closed for Maintenance Monday, Nov 8 – Wednesday, Nov 17.
