COVID-19 Tram Closure
To our valued Guests and Employees,
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Sandia Peak Tram has made the difficult decision to suspend operations after Sunday, March 15, 2020, until further notice. We know this may cause disappointment for our future guests but this decision was made in the best interest of our many visitors, locals and employees of the tram. In the coming weeks, we will be monitoring the situation closely, while following guidelines from the CDC and other agencies to determine a date for reopening the Tram and the Ten 3 restaurant.

HIKING AND WILDLIFE
With over 100 hiking trails appealing to a wide range of explorers, the beauty of the Sandia Mountains is accessible to all from its crest atop the tramway.
Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and warm clothing. The top of the mountain can be 20-30 degrees cooler than city temperatures below.

Just a tram ride away from Albuquerque, you can explore 25 miles of slopes and trails at Sandia Peak Ski Area.
Serviced by three chair lifts and two surface lifts, it’s great skiing at a friendly price where you can experience wide open trails, blue skies, and perfect grooming.
